黑珍珠 The Black Pearl’ s Grand Opening Celebration
The year began with an unforgettable milestone as 黑珍珠 The Black Pearl officially opened its doors in March 2025. Our vision was to build a refined yet inviting destination where diners could rediscover familiar flavours through a modern lens. The launch brought together media, industry guests and supporters who had followed Chef Dee Chan’s career over the years. Their presence and enthusiasm set a celebratory tone for what would become an exciting year ahead.
Four-Hands Collaboration

One of the most fulfilling highlights of 2025 was our four-hands collaboration. This partnership allowed us to bring culinary talents together and gave guests access to limited exclusive menus.
On 18 and 19 July, 黑珍珠 The Black Pearl presented an exclusive 7-course dinner featuring Chef Mathew Leong, Top Asian Chef at Bocuse d’Or 2025, and our very own Chef Dee Chan. This collaboration celebrated the meeting of two visionary chefs, each bringing their unique culinary philosophies to the table.
The result was a harmonious exchange of ideas and flavours that delighted diners. Guests enjoyed thoughtfully curated dishes showcasing seasonal produce, precise technique and refined presentation.
Our First Mid-Autumn Collection

2025 also marked 黑珍珠 The Black Pearl’s very first Mid-Autumn mooncake collection, a celebration of heritage reimagined with modern elegance. Guests were delighted by two distinct offerings: the Pearl Signature Box, featuring four inventive flavours such as Rose Lychee Tea and Brown Sugar Red Dates Ginger Tea Longan Paste, beautifully presented in a plush black suede box with floral embroidery; and the Pearl Luxe Limited Edition Box, crafted exclusively by Executive Chef Dee Chan, which included luxurious creations like Hong Kong Style Custard Mooncake and Traditional Baked Double Yolk, presented in a suede-lined layered box with a bespoke cutlery set.
Both collections reflected our dedication to craftsmanship, artistry, and memorable experiences, offering diners a refined and meaningful way to celebrate Mid-Autumn, whether for gifting, sharing with loved ones, or savouring themselves.
Chef Dee Chan’s Star Chef Award
Another standout moment arrived when Chef Dee Chan received the prestigious Star Chef Award, a testament to his dedication, mastery and unwavering pursuit of excellence. This recognition was deeply meaningful to the entire team as it validated the passion that drives our craft every day.
Chef Dee’s cooking philosophy is rooted in elevating heritage flavours while honouring the integrity of each ingredient. His award-winning work continues to inspire our menu development and reflects the spirit of innovation that defines 黑珍珠 The Black Pearl.
The accolade also affirmed Singapore’s growing appreciation for modern Cantonese cuisine. As diners increasingly seek experiences that blend authenticity and artistry, Chef Dee’s award symbolised both personal achievement and the collective progress of the culinary community.
Christmas Collaboration With Pommery

As the year drew to a close, 黑珍珠 The Black Pearl presented a limited-edition festive dining experience in collaboration with the prestigious Champagne house Pommery. Guests enjoyed the highlight of the menu, Festive Roasted Duck with Shaved Foie Gras and Caviar, a dish that marries Cantonese tradition with contemporary elegance. Available for a limited time, it offered a luxurious and celebratory dining experience.
The restaurant was also beautifully adorned with Christmas décor, complemented by live performances that enhanced the festive atmosphere. As a special treat, diners on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day received a box of chocolates per table.
